Personal Support Worker  (PT – 20 hrs/wk) As SouthSTAR expands it’s home-based services to both adults and children we have a growing need for personal support workers.   The hours are flexible and will be scheduled to meet the needs of the client and family. The essential duties include:   

• Providing services in the client’s home and community
• Implementing daily activities in their service plan by providing supervision, instruction and monitoring of individualized programming.
• Participate in interdisciplinary staffings, including at the school.
• Collect and record data related to the individual service plan.

Qualifications:   High school diploma, a minimum of one year related experience, a valid drivers license, DSP certified and reliable transportation.  Candidates with experience working with autism are encouraged to apply.
